The cabins are kitsch, average and grounds are very clean however, one needs to note that (why so)the Park around the corner was fully booked but this partucular park was at 30% capacity. The owners state quite clearly that they are welcoming on their Splash Welcome sign but the service I received was sadly the opposite. To the point whereby the police became involved.
Burnt my finger on cheap saucepans while poaching simple salmon fillets in a confined cooking space where the stove is 7cm away from a ply wood wall. Not too happy as my index finger is feeling the wrath and I am very upset

Stayed 4 nights on a powered site. All amenities were clean, though slightly tired, but the hot water was delightfully hot which was appreciated in the cold and wet weather we had while being there. Grounds are well kept. The camp kitchen is really basic - no hot water but the barbecue worked really well. Pet friendly with a really nice cycle path gong past the facility
